The db City Centre Project represents our most recent and highly anticipated endeavour situated in St. George’s Bay, Malta. This ambitious undertaking encompasses a Mixed-Use development, showcasing a prestigious 380-key, 5 Star Hard Rock Hotel, alongside two Residential Towers with exquisite luxury apartments. Additionally, the project includes a collection of 12 esteemed Restaurant Establishments, with renowned international brands already identified as potential partners. Moreover, a sprawling 20,000-square-meter upscale shopping mall is set to enhance the project’s allure and sophistication.
We are currently looking for Cost Controller to join our Finance team.
The Job
Spot checks upon receiving and posting of invoices.
Review, investigate and explain cost budget variances on a monthly basis.
Analysis of the monthly cost of goods identify opportunities for improvement.
Analysis of the monthly wastages and consumables cost to address any cost overruns on a timely basis.
Perform stock-take and spot checks in various outlets.
Analysis of stock variances from physical inventory cycle counts and stock-takes.
Closing of consumption report on a monthly basis.
Drive process improvements to reach goals and KPI’s.
Job Requirements
Experience in a similar role
Strong attention to details, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
