Job overview
We are looking for a passionate and creative Marketing Assistant to join our team and help us grow our brand awareness and customer base. You will be working closely with our Marketing Manager and other team members to execute effective marketing campaigns and strategies for our products and services.
As a Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting market research and analysing consumer trends and feedback
- Creating engaging and informative marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, newsletters, social media posts, etc.
- An understanding of Adobe products and graphic design ability is considered a benefit for this role
- Assisting in the planning and coordination of promotional events and digital campaigns
- Updating and maintaining our website and social media platforms on a daily basis. This includes liaising with the online community
- Providing administrative support to the marketing department, such as preparing reports, managing databases, scheduling meetings, etc
- Ability to perform under pressure in a retail environment
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A degree in marketing, communication, business, or a related field
- Previous experience as a marketing assistant or a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and other marketing software and tools
- A creative mindset and a keen eye for detail
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- The willingness to learn new skills and take on new challenges
- Positive, innovative, and approachable attitude in building brands as part of a team across a variety of brands
