As a Human Resources Executive, your primary goal is to help the company achieve its objectives by ensuring it has a skilled and effective workforce. This involves carefully selecting candidates with the right qualifications and experience. Your role encompasses the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment to departure, including training, development, and managing performance, progression, and disciplinary issues.
Job Overview
As an HR Executive, you will need to:
- Understand the company’s goals and create policies to support them
- Develop job descriptions, person specifications, and job advertisements
- Oversee the application process, including shortlisting, interviewing, and notifying candidates
- Hire, train, and retain suitable staff
- Verify that new hires have the right to work
- Organize and sometimes deliver training, including inductions
- Manage staff welfare and administrative tasks
- Provide advice on compensation and benefits
- Conduct salary reviews
- Plan and strategize for immediate and future staffing needs
- Develop and enforce policies on working conditions, performance, and other HR issues
- Guide managers on implementing HR policies
- Collaborate with managers on staff performance, organizational structure, and health and safety
- Promote a culture of equality and diversity
- Negotiate with staff on pay, contracts, and other relevant issues
- Prepare staff handbooks, manage payroll (including wage allocations), and maintain employee records
- Interpret and advise on employment law
- Address grievances and enforce disciplinary actions
- Assess training needs in collaboration with departmental managers
- Handle work permit applications for third-country nationals
- Check rosters
- Manage registrations with Jobplus, Identita’, and other entities

Experience required
- At least three years of working experience in a similar role. Experience in the FMCG sector will enhance your chances of being selected for this challenging role.
Academic qualifications
A degree or similar qualification in relevant fields such as:
- Business or management
- Human resource management
A Master’s degree in HR or personnel management is advantageous but not required.
