Job Description

We are currently seeking an HR Manager to join our team.

Job responsibilities:

  • Creating, updating and reviewing the company’s workplace practices, policies and guidelines
  • Acting as a point of reference and advisor to employees on day-to-day HR issues and employee relations
  • Overseeing recruitment of staff for assigned areas
  • Conducting training and development needs analysis and monitoring the use of performance management tools and practices
  • Supporting the creation, coordination and delivery of in-house training programmes
  • Assisting in maintaining internal communication channels and tools
  • Leading the implementation of business changes and initiatives that have an impact on employees, while ensuring adherence to legal and contractual obligations
  • Participating in ongoing HR projects and events

Candidate profile:

  • A minimum 3 years experience in a similar HR position
  • Fluency in written and verbal English and Maltese
  • Excellent knowledge of Maltese employment law and proficiency in HR administrative duties
  • Excellent communication skills to deal effectively with employees at all levels
  • Be assertive and trustworthy, respecting high levels of confidentiality
  • An eye for detail and ability to work on own initiative, to tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional multi-tasking abilities and good project management skills
  • A degree in Human Resources or a related field will be considered an asset
