Job Description
We are currently seeking an HR Manager to join our team.
Job responsibilities:
- Creating, updating and reviewing the company’s workplace practices, policies and guidelines
- Acting as a point of reference and advisor to employees on day-to-day HR issues and employee relations
- Overseeing recruitment of staff for assigned areas
- Conducting training and development needs analysis and monitoring the use of performance management tools and practices
- Supporting the creation, coordination and delivery of in-house training programmes
- Assisting in maintaining internal communication channels and tools
- Leading the implementation of business changes and initiatives that have an impact on employees, while ensuring adherence to legal and contractual obligations
- Participating in ongoing HR projects and events
Candidate profile:
- A minimum 3 years experience in a similar HR position
- Fluency in written and verbal English and Maltese
- Excellent knowledge of Maltese employment law and proficiency in HR administrative duties
- Excellent communication skills to deal effectively with employees at all levels
- Be assertive and trustworthy, respecting high levels of confidentiality
- An eye for detail and ability to work on own initiative, to tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional multi-tasking abilities and good project management skills
- A degree in Human Resources or a related field will be considered an asset
