Job Description

Corinthia Group is seeking to employ an HR & Recruitment Officer for one of it’s business entities.

The ideal candidate will have an active role in supporting the HR function of this business unit and ensuring that talent is identified, recruited, and maintained.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports the HR department in the HR administrative side of the business
  • Providing administrative support to the General Manager
  • Preparing contracts of employment
  • Headhunting and actively sourcing candidates
  • Screening of CVs and conducting initial interviews
  • Sending job offers to the candidates
  • Posting job adverts on agency portals
  • Conducting onboarding and initial employee induction
  • Coordinating employee training requirements
  • Candidate screening and scheduling interviews
  • Maintaining relationships with business suppliers
  • Applying for work permit for third country nationals through ID Malta portal
  • Ensuring that all hiring and selection is done in accordance with laws and regulations

Key Competencies:

  • Full range of computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Competent in social medial applications primarily on Facebook and Linkedin
  • Hold excellent communication skills both verbal and written and be able to keep an open communication stream with local and overseas partners
  • Strong organisational skills including effective prioritising of work
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Knowledge of local employment law
  • Experience in using ID Malta and Jobs Plus portals
  • The ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Be highly organised and able to prioritise workload
  • A valid driving license
  • A minimum Advanced level of education is required and prior experience in recruitment will be highly considered
