Job Description
We are looking for a new team member to grow a portfolio of customers for the Italian Market. You will be supported by the Renewables Desk Manager who is highly experienced in the environmental markets, brokering and deal structuring.
COMMERG
COMMERG is a screen and voice broker in the European Environmental Commodity Markets. In this niche market, we use our strong position, knowledge, and financial intelligence to match buyers and sellers in order to optimize deal structures. COMMERG is looking to expand its customer base in Europe in different environmental commodities related to renewable energy, energy efficiency, renewable certificates and guarantees of origin.
COMMERG Renewables Brokers team
We are based in Sliema, Malta. The Brokers team consists of 8 market specialists who have a strong commercial drive, are ambitious, eager to learn, entrepreneurial to investigate new markets, not satisfied until they have found a solution for a problem and act as team players.
You will be responsible for
- Building your own customer portfolio
- Maintaining the existing customer portfolio
- Becoming the main information source for your customer portfolio
- Matching buyers with sellers and proposing (new) deal structures
- Coordinating market and client research and providing constructive feedback to the Head of Renewables Desk and the rest of the team
- Closing deals
- Following up with your deals with the help of the back-office
Job requirements
- 0-3 years of commercial experience (preferably in brokering or sales)
- Fluent in verbal and written communication in English and Italian
- A diploma or university degree in business or sustainability
- Interest in renewable energy
- Affinity with finance / commodities / brokering
- Strong commercial drive and a proactive attitude
- Eager to learn and work hard
