Job Description

CaterEssence is one of the largest and leading privately owned contract caterers in Malta. Established in 2010, CaterEssence operates from a central food processing unit which is spread over 2000 sq. metres at The Landmark in Qormi, operating and specialising in contract catering and retail food sales.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Handling of all daily orders – order taking and inputting of orders in our online ordering system
  • Maintaining client relationships including order taking, and the handling of client feedback
  • Daily and weekly sales reporting
  • Liaising with Pastry and Finance department

Person Specification (Skills; knowledge; experience; attitude):

  • Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills
  • Great communication skills and a positive can-do attitude
  • Time management and organisation skills
  • Basic math skills, computer literacy and ability to communicate in both
  • English and Maltese
  • Ability to multi-task and analyze data
  • Team player with the ability to demonstrate a can-do attitude when faced with deadlines and other challenging situations
  • Experience in catering and / or sales will be considered an asset
