Job Description
CaterEssence is one of the largest and leading privately owned contract caterers in Malta. Established in 2010, CaterEssence operates from a central food processing unit which is spread over 2000 sq. metres at ‘The Landmark’ in Qormi, operating and specialising in contract catering and retail food sales.
The role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, in this position you will be part of the Accounts team with the day-to-day accounting duties, from Monday to Friday and occasionally on Saturdays.
Roles and responsibilities
- Daily sales reconciliation
- All cash and credit card reconciliation of all outlets
- Chasing of debtors
- Filing
- To assist in any other accounting duties as deemed necessary
The ideal candidate should be / have
- Dedicated, having excellent communication skills
- Multitasking ability coupled with flexible attitude towards work
- Reliable and honest
- Able to work on own initiative and in a team environment
- 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
- O’ level or A’ level in accounting would be considered an asset, although not necessary
