As our Marketing department grows, a new job opportunity has arisen for the role of Marketing Executive to drive the marketing efforts for our investment advisory, pensions, wealth management and capital markets services that we offer. The ideal candidate should ideally have a strong background in marketing within the investments or banking industry, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
Duties and responsibilities
- Assist in developing and executing Marketing plans. Measure the performance of campaigns and create a brief marketing report for management
- Coordinate corporate communications to deliver brand-consistent messages
- Drive towards goals ensuring achievement of marketing KPI’s
- Support the company’s social media presence through developing content for various platforms, including websites, social media, newsletters, and promotional materials
- Be creative with a proactive approach and take initiative
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences and competitor activities
- Form part of the team that will be driving new products
- Monitor spending and ensure that all campaigns stay within budget
- Coordinate with external agencies, internal teams and vendors to execute marketing projects when needed
- Review and standardise documentation created internally for distribution / promote brand internally
- Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives
Job requirements
- Experience and Education Requirements:
- Tertiary level of education within Marketing
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Demonstrable experience in Marketing coupled with an aptitude for business development
- Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate
- Skills Requirements:
- Proficiency with key marketing tools and CRM systems
- Strong design sense and creative input
- Experience in content creation and PR
- Product development insight and campaign management
- Experience in WordPress and email marketing
- Attention to detail, adaptability, and ambition
- Content creation experience will be considered as an asset
