Job Description

Job Purpose
To ensure that retail stores are fully operational, merchandise and maintained to high standards of visual presentation on a daily basis, operating to franchise standards and brand guidelines.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Working flexible hours
  • Assembling or dismantling visual displays in windows or in stores
  • To complete displays to tight deadlines
  • Seeking feedback from colleagues and customers on the visual impact of displays and implementing changes
  • Helping to plan window displays and planning floor displays
  • Anticipating and maximising customers interest reaction and expectations with visual displays
  • Creating displays that are creative, on trend and appealing
  • Researching current trends and keeping up to date with personal training in all brands
  • Physical work, such as lifting, carrying, climbing of ladders and tool use
  • Multifunctional, with responsibility for change of seasonal VM displays and sometimes on a selling level
  • Planning, implementation and documentation of the window displays
  • Keeping up to date on training for new ideas and strategies for displays of new products
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
  • Extensive knowledge of the brands and products
  • Ability to physically stand, bend, squat and lift
  • Customer focused for a positive customer experience and resolution
  • Changing of signage, maintaining cleanliness and functionality of fixtures, lights and mannequins
  • Aiding to train store teams in design concepts, visual standards and the proper maintenance of overall visual display effort.
  • Ensuring that all stock is replenished and out on shop floor, visiting the stock rooms checking for low or one of pieces. Informing VM manager of non movers within stores
  • Photos of before and after VM are to be sent to VM Manager and reporting any faults within VM

  • Experience in a similar job would be an asset
  • Driving license essential
