Warehouse Helper

A new position has become available within our BigMat Warehouse Team and we are looking for a Warehouse Helper to help manage the flow of products and stock through the warehouse. The chosen candidate requires excellent time management skills, great attention to detail and proficient communication skills.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).


• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).


• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation.


• Report any discrepancies.


• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers.


• Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment.


• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.


• Any other warehouse-related jobs as instructed by Supervisor / Manager.

Education and experience required

• The ideal candidate must possess a school leaving certificate.


• A valid forklift license shall be considered an asset.


• Previous experience within the retail industry or working within a warehouse environment shall be considered an asset.


• Fluency in spoken and written English is required while fluency in Maltese shall be considered an asset.

Physical requirements / working conditions
This role is on a full-time basis and working hours are based on a 6-day week working from Monday to Saturday. Working overtime may be required and this shall be compensated accordingly.
