Job Description

As a Content Producer for the bet365 Sports and Betting News Italian website, you will be responsible for the planning, production, and delivery of content in line with the editorial content and SEO strategy.

A strong and clear passion for a variety of sports is a must, as is previous experience working in a similar fast-paced editorial content environment.

You will need to be able to demonstrate examples of your past work and have the ability to produce outstanding content that meets our strategic objectives and targets.

You will work closely, effectively and collaboratively with the wider Editorial Content team and third-party content production agencies.

Keeping up-to-date and ahead of the sporting calendar will be a vital part of the role, ensuring that a host of sports, competitions and events are planned in advance, as well as ensuring new ideas are put forward.

You will be a highly motivated, positive and professional individual, who possesses excellent written and communication skills.

A sound knowledge and understanding of SEO will be required.

You will need to have a good understanding of Italian marketing and compliance restrictions.

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Good attention to detail with an excellent standard and knowledge of both written and verbal Italian and English language.
  • Understanding and knowledge of SEO.
  • Strong knowledge of popular Italian sports.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and motivation skills.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • Good understanding of Italian marketing and compliance restrictions.

Main responsibilities:

  • Planning, producing and delivering content for the Italian Sports and Betting News website.
  • Ensuring content is of a consistently high standard and in line with the Editorial Content and SEO strategy.
  • Ensuring SEO best practices are adopted and executed.
  • Ensuring content is compliant.
  • Keeping up-to-date and ahead of the sporting calendar to ensure content is thoroughly planned.
  • Bringing in and putting forward creative and original content ideas.
  • Responding to breaking, developing and trending stories / content.
  • Working closely with the wider Editorial Content team and third-party content production agencies.
