Job Description

We are looking for an ICT Administrator who is highly motivated and willing to learn new technologies to join us at our new offices in Qormi. Within our multicultural environment, the chosen candidate will be exposed to a myriad of technologies during the day-to day support and maintenance of the ICT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the IT strategy in order to help the company meet its goals and long-term vision
  • Provide level 1 and level 2 support to internal users via ticketing system; both local and remote
  • Provide out of office hours support through an on-call rotation system
  • Install, configure and maintain IT hardware and software across various platforms
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation
  • Monitor proactively IT assets
  • Support the infrastructure; including servers and networking devices
  • Follow infrastructure and security best practices
  • Liaise with vendors and other 3rd parties
  • Educate our internal users on IT policies and best practices
  • Take ownership of tasks and projects assigned to you by the ICT Manager or Head of ICT

Requirements:

  • In possession of a diploma or a bachelor’s degree in the IT field
  • Have ideally a minimum of 2 years’ experience in IT support
  • Professional working proficiency of the English language
  • Be eager to learn new technologies
  • Have an analytic mindset and attentive to detail

Bonus Skills/Certifications (these would be a plus to have)

  • Vendor certifications (e.g. A+, CCNA, MCSA, ITIL)
  • Experience with Windows Servers
  • Experience with Virtualization
