Job Description
Beautimport Limited is seeking to recruit a Front Office Clerk / Receptionist for their office in Gudja. We’re looking for an outgoing, proactive team player for our front office. We require a total of 40 hours coverage for our office, ideally with one full-time candidate, however, we will also consider taking on two part-timers, or a person on F/T reduced hours.
Duties include:
- Greeting walk-in clients and dealing with their queries and other reception duties
- Admin work including handling telephone and email queries
- Invoicing duties including issuing client orders and quotations
- General filing duties, including data inputting and upkeep of records
- Keeping front office displays up to date and ensuring the front office is tidy and presentable
- Handling petty cash
- Any other ancillary tasks related to the role
The ideal candidate will have:
- Post-secondary level of education
- Communication skills in spoken and written English. Knowledge of Maltese is not necessary but will be considered an attribute
- Strong customer service skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook etc)
- Neat and professional appearance
- Ability to work under pressure and under their own initiative
- Attention to detail
Familiarity with the hair and beauty industry will be considered an asset but is not strictly necessary.
Remuneration will be commensurate to experience, starting at €6.75 gross per hour.
