Job Description

Beautimport Limited is seeking to recruit a Front Office Clerk / Receptionist for their office in Gudja. We’re looking for an outgoing, proactive team player for our front office. We require a total of 40 hours coverage for our office, ideally with one full-time candidate, however, we will also consider taking on two part-timers, or a person on F/T reduced hours.

Duties include:

  • Greeting walk-in clients and dealing with their queries and other reception duties
  • Admin work including handling telephone and email queries
  • Invoicing duties including issuing client orders and quotations
  • General filing duties, including data inputting and upkeep of records
  • Keeping front office displays up to date and ensuring the front office is tidy and presentable
  • Handling petty cash
  • Any other ancillary tasks related to the role

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Post-secondary level of education
  • Communication skills in spoken and written English. Knowledge of Maltese is not necessary but will be considered an attribute
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook etc)
  • Neat and professional appearance
  • Ability to work under pressure and under their own initiative
  • Attention to detail

Familiarity with the hair and beauty industry will be considered an asset but is not strictly necessary.

Remuneration will be commensurate to experience, starting at €6.75 gross per hour.
