Job Description
Beacon Media Group is looking to recruit a Technical Officer who is responsible for operating and maintaining radio equipment, studios and audio-visual equipment used in visual radio.
The main duties include
- Record, edit, and transmit audio and video for radio or online programs, including but not limited to voice-overs, advertorials etc.
- Coordinate with other staff members to ensure that programmes are broadcast at scheduled times.
- Monitor clarity, reliability, and strength of incoming and outgoing signals.
- Monitor broadcast quality of live and recorded radio and online programs.
- Adhere to broadcast authority standards and complying laws and regulations.
- Periodically check the reliability of equipment.
- Report problems and take in equipment for repairs.

Beacon Media Group Ltd is the media service provider of the Church that manages the radio station 103 Malta’s Heart and the news portal Newsbook.com.mt. The company also provides other audio-visual and digital services through its Media Centre.
