Following a multi-million investment, the newly renovated hotel comprises of 293 bedrooms and suites, 2 food and beverage outlets, as well as a heated panoramic pool with breath-taking views over St. George’s Bay.

The Housekeeping Supervisor at be.HOTEL must be proactive, productive, and perceptive. As a Housekeeping Supervisor your duty is not only to oversee all duties performed by the Housekeeping team; but to also develop and implement strategies to improve the functioning of the Housekeeping department, have excellent management skills and ensure that all operations run smoothly as well as, efficiently.

Key responsibilities are, but not limited to:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the housekeeping staff, including room attendants, laundry personnel, and janitors.
  • Train and mentor team members to ensure high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
  • Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure adherence to cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders when necessary.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
  • Ensure that all staff members on the team comply with all health and safety, as well as fire prevention and hygiene regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures and practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
