We are on the lookout for a self-motivated, dynamic individual. However; that is not all be.HOTEL’s outlets never sleep! We must make sure that our F&B Supervisor is able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced multicultural environment, having the guest’s dining experience at heart.

Job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work closely and support the Food and Beverage Manager.
  • Monitor staff service levels to establish any areas that require attention or further training and provide training where required.
  • Scheduling of shifts, training as well as maintaining a close relationship with the team keeping them motivated and ensuring a team player environment throughout duty.
  • Able to manage and organize the team, ensuring that there is no preference, and every team member is treated equally.
  • Ensure the correct set-up for functions and bookings for the day.
  • Maintain excellent product knowledge.
  • Operate POS (Point Of Sale) and maintain the security of the system.
  • Prepare reports for Food and Beverage Manager.
  • Monitor and ensure all the front-of-the-house team follow F&B policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Problem solve. Ready to find a solution or solve any issues customers may face with regards to the service or during their time dining at the establishment.
  • Ensure that the restaurant follows all the applicable regulations and legislation.

As such, you are:

  • Undoubtedly a qualified professional in the catering aspect of the restaurant industry, with years of experience and have a strong management background.
  • Customer-driven and extremely proactive and ‘switched on’ individual with an outgoing, charismatic, and approachable character.
  • Ideally a mature person with experience in a similar position, fluent in Maltese, English and Italian, computer literate and in possession of effective interpersonal and communication attributes.
