Thousands of people go through our doors to work, eat, relax, and shop, which is why The Group is on the lookout for a highly competent individual that is always ready to protect our valued clientele, tenants, staff, and premises.

So, if you can handle guest queries, and requests as well as being able to handle that all reservations are properly recorded and organized for future reference, Bay Street Group trusts you to fill in the role of the Reservations Executive.

Responsibilities

  • Process reservations by mail, telephone, online system, or sales office.
  • Know the type of rooms available as well as their location and layout.
  • Know the selling status, rates, and benefits of all package plans.
  • Knows the credit policy of the hotel and how to code each reservation.
  • Communicates reservation information to the front desk.
  • Processes cancellations and modifications and promptly relays this information to the front desk.
  • Understands the hotel’s policy on guaranteed reservations and no-shows.
  • Processes advance deposits on reservations.
  • Tracks future room availabilities based on reservations.
  • Handles daily correspondence.
  • Responds to inquiries and make reservations as needed.
  • Always maintains a clean and neat appearance and work area.
  • Promotes goodwill by beings courteous, friendly, and helpful to guests, Managers, and fellow employees.
  • Perform any other duties that may be requested related to the position by the Reservations Manager.

Requirements
To successfully fulfil this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

  • Excellent command of English. Other languages would be an asset.
  • The ideal candidate will have previous customer service experience and possess professional presentation.
  • Opera knowledge is preferred.
  • Able to work in a high–pressured environment.
