The Job
This role requires a developer with a combination of skills ranging from technical, analytical and programming. Technical knowledge and expertise in data warehousing, data modelling, ETL, advanced Excel, Microsoft Azure and PowerBI are essential. Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to design and implement efficient and reliable data solutions are also necessary. Programming proficiency in Python is required. The main function of the job is to support our day-to-day efforts to best understand and optimize the many facets of our business.
Your primary mission would be to leverage your skills to support the various ongoing data projects. You will be required to collect the right data to answer business questions. You will participate in the development of data models and bridging all the way to producing Business Intelligence reports for the different departments.
About You
You must have a people-oriented personality as you will be working with teams from across the business. You must also be a team player, meticulous and enthusiastic whilst being committed and personally motivated to learn.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Computer Science or similar
- Very organized
- Good grasp of the programming language Python
- Experience in database development (data modelling, SQL programming, MS SQL Analysis Service)
- Comfortable in the development of BI solutions (such as Microsoft Azure, Power BI) and ETL tools
- Advanced experience using Excel
