Job Description

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a driven and experienced Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) Specialist to join our team.

As a CRO Specialist you will take charge of the company’s CRO strategy, using analytical and creative skills to identify improvement opportunities and translate them into an optimisation plan that will drive the company’s growth. Our digital presence is key to the company’s revenue, and being responsible for the optimisation of such an important asset presents you with an excellent opportunity to make an impact.

Reporting to the Digital Performance Manager you must be data-driven, focusing on evaluating and designing conversion-centric digital experiences that improve the metrics that matter within a B2B environment. You must have a solid understanding and hands-on experience with A / B testing, web analytics and UX conversion tactics that help drive performance and insights.

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Build a CRO framework from data-driven ideation, execution, reporting and analysis
  • Create and deliver projects that improve user experiences, involving the running of tasks like website / landing page audits, web analytics reviews, user journey analysis, heuristic reviews, information architecture reviews, user research and personas building
  • Collect and analyse data (both qualitative and quantitative) to deliver insights and ideas for experimentation
  • Ensure proper tracking is in place to help you with user behaviour analysis
  • Coordinate with different team members and key stakeholders to prioritise, set up and run experiments
  • Design and run experiments, whether A / B tests, MVT tests or otherwise
  • Use analytics platforms and tools to monitor and analyse tests’ outcome
  • Provide accurate analysis and document results
  • Clearly translate results into actionable recommendations that add value to the company
  • Ensure best-in-class CRO methodology is used across product and content initiatives
  • Participate in team task forces and share CRO best practices on new or key company projects
  • Drive conversion rates up and improve sales-qualified leads
  • Maintain constant awareness and reporting on competitor and industry activities

Skills required:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in website conversion rate optimisation, and / or UX focused role
  • Highly proficient in web analytics (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of testing / user behaviour analytics platforms (Convert, Hotjar, etc.)
  • Strongly proficient in digital marketing and effective landing page design
  • Experience running user tests
  • Good understanding of statistical significance and the mathematics involved in effective testing
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript is a bonus
  • Great project management skills to effectively deliver planned experiments
  • Genuine curiosity about the customer and what drives him / her to interact with the brand
