Job Description

  • To research audience preferences and to discover current trends;
  • To develop engaging, creative and innovative content for regularly scheduled posts, which enlighten audiences and promote brand-focused messages;
  • To coordinate social media messaging with advertising departments, brand managers and quarterly or seasonal company goals;
  • To stay up to date with changes in all social platforms in order to ensure maximum effectiveness;
  • To analyse social media campaigns with tracking systems to gather visitor data and to determine efficacy and areas for social media campaign improvement;
  • To develop an optimal posting schedule, taking into consideration web traffic and customer engagement metrics;
  • To audit and analyse social media presences, including digital advertising costs and returns;
  • To work with other departments to develop social media timelines that coincide with new product releases, ad campaigns or other brand messages;
  • To monitor and develop reports on competitor activity within social media spaces;
  • To facilitate online conversations with customers and to respond to queries;
  • To suggest new ways to attract prospective customers;
  • Other ad hoc duties that may arise from time to time.
