AgriBank PLC is a licensed Maltese credit institution committed to offering a flexible service to corporate clients both locally and in other reputable jurisdictions. In view of growing business needs, we are currently looking for a professional individual to join our team.
The Senior Factoring Operations Officer will manage the day-to-day operations of the Factoring department. The Senior Officer will have an understanding of the factoring process and be able to help the Head of Factoring to lead a team and provide excellent service to our clients.
Primary responsibilities:
- Oversee the factoring process from start to finish, ensuring that all client transactions are handled efficiently and accurately.
- Manage a small team of Factoring Officers and provide guidance and support to ensure that all team members are meeting performance goals.
- Monitor and analyze factoring trends to identify potential issues and implement solutions to improve processes and procedures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and third-party vendors to ensure that factoring services are provided in a timely and professional manner.
- Work closely with other departments within the bank, such as credit and risk management, to ensure that factoring operations are aligned with overall bank goals and objectives.
- Prepare regular reports on factoring activity and performance for management and other stakeholders.
- Client and debtor maintenance, including preparation of documentation for amendments and funding parameters.
- Management of platform, banking facilities and other arrangements.
- Maintenance of live files, including collection, processing, and analysing of MI and bank statements.
- Processing of invoices, payments, and transfers as required.

- Possess high-level work ethics, professional integrity and be able to keep track of different workflows concurrently.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision with a good eye for detail and analytical skills, good in prioritizing, organizational and time management abilities in order to meet deadlines and able to work independently.
- Be a good team player with good communication skills and the ability to manage clients at different levels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education and experience:
- The ideal candidate must possess at least 2-3 years of experience working in a similar operative position.
- Hold a relevant degree level of qualification.
- Have professional knowledge of Microsoft Office and other standard IT programmes.
- Knowledge of Factoring would be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of digital gaming and digital advertising would be considered an asset.
