Job Description

Reporting to the Technical Manager, the successful candidate shall be responsible, amongst other duties, for:

  • The provision of first / second line support;
  • The support for Microsoft Windows and business applications, anti-virus protection, e-mail, updates and authentication administration;
  • Installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading hardware / equipment;
  • Troubleshooting systems and network problems at clients premises and also at the office;
  • Deliver and setup IT hardware at client premises;
  • Monitoring and maintaining customers’ systems and networks;
  • Be able to document new and existing setups and upgrades.

The ideal candidate must:

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar technical, hands-on role;
  • Be qualified in IT at certificate / diploma level;
  • Ensure that requests for assistance are properly logged, assigned and responded to in a timely manner and according to agreed standards and procedures;
  • Eager to learn, pick up new technologies easily;
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills and be a team player;
  • Be fluent in English and Maltese;
  • Possess a driving licence and use of own car.
