Job Description
Reporting to the Chief Development Officer (CDO), the Projects Coordinator will be providing administrative support to ensure the smooth planning, implementation and closure of ongoing projects.
Duties include
- Assisting the CDO in the development of project management documents e.g., licenses, permits, project budgets, project schedules, scope statements and project plans.
- Executing administrative tasks such as managing invoices, purchase orders and inventory reports, among other financial documents.
- Taking an active role in the project procurement process.
- Participating in project meetings, and taking minutes as required.
- Coordinating the allocation of project resources.
- Scheduling stakeholder meetings.
- Documenting and generating reports.
- Supporting cross-team collaboration to help Project team members complete project tasks and produce deliverables.
- Liaising with the respective entities on the application of site permits.
- Providing administrative support to the CDO as required.
- Liaison and assistance with head office and other group companies.
Knowledge, skills and abilities required
- A minimum of three years experience in an administrative role.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Relevant qualifications will be considered an asset.
- Experience in a project management environment and / or certification in project management will be considered an asset.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills.
- High level of organisational and planning skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
