Job Description
The Digital Solutions Coordinator will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining computer systems and networks, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the overall functionality and security of digital infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Providing first-line technical support.
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computer systems, software applications, and devices.
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance of IT hardware.
- Updating operating systems and software applications.
- Monitoring system performance and taking proactive measures to address potential issues.
- Assisting in the setup and maintenance of networks.
- Maintaining network security measures.
- Installing, upgrading, and maintaining computer hardware components.
- Managing inventory of IT equipment and supplies.
- Coordinating with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements.
- Conduct training sessions for Hotel team members on IT systems and procedures as required.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches.
- Keeping informed about industry trends and advancements.
- Collaborating with the Commercial team to optimise digital operations.
- Work with HODs to improve their day-to-day procedure.
Qualifications and requirements:
- A diploma or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a similar role. Experience within a hotel environment will be considered an asset.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, familiarity with hotel operating systems and knowledge of networking protocols.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
