Job Description
We are currently seeking a Marketing Executive to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Support the Chief Commercial Officer in the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing plans and strategies in alignment with the hotel group objectives and brand positioning.
- Conduct market research to identify customer trends, preferences, and competitors’ activities, utilizing the findings to optimize marketing campaigns.
- Create and oversee the production of marketing collateral, including print materials, digital content, social media assets, and advertisements, ensuring brand consistency and high-quality standards.
- Manage group’s digital marketing initiatives, including websites’ content updates, email marketing, Hotel App content management and social media campaigns.
- Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance using various analytics tools, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as Sales, commercial, reservations, catering and Operations, to ensure effective cross-functional collaboration and alignment of marketing efforts.
- Manage the hotels’ online presence, including websites’ maintenance, online listings, and reputation management.
- Coordinate and execute promotional events, partnerships, and sponsorships to enhance brand visibility and attract target customers.
- Oversee public relations activities, including press releases, media relations, and media monitoring.
- Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and marketing best practices, and incorporate relevant strategies into the hotels’ marketing efforts.
- Under the guidance of the Chief Commercial Officer, manage marketing budgets, track expenses, and evaluate return on investment (ROI) to optimize marketing effectiveness and efficiency.
- Manage social media presence: Establish and maintain an active presence on popular social media platforms. Regularly share engaging content, respond to customer queries, and run targeted campaigns to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Monitor online reputation: Keep a close eye on guest reviews and ratings on platforms like TripAdvisor, Google Reviews, and social media.
- Performs other duties, as assigned by Chief Commercial Officer, to meet business needs.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field will be considered an asset.
- Strong digital marketing skills with a good understanding of social media platforms, email marketing, and online advertising.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and generate innovative ideas.
- Proven knowledge in SEM and SEO.
- Design knowledge e.g. on Canva, Figma or Photoshop.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
- Familiarity with the hospitality industry is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English.
