Crane Currency is expanding its HR Team for our new facility in Malta. This is a great opportunity for an HR Business Partner to join our team in supporting and aligning to business goals through a complete and professional Generalist HR Service.  

The incumbent will be also supporting where needed through the management of specialist subject areas.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Cover the complete range of Generalist services, advising, influencing and when necessary providing direction to members of the management team and employee staff
  • Undertake to deliver and be the subject expert on assigned specialist areas
  • Suggest new HR strategies
  • Implement HR strategy, processes and procedures in line with business needs and legal requirements
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
  • Collate and contribute to monthly HR report
  • Analyze trends and metrics with the HR department
  • Understand the principles and work within the spirit of employment legislation also by taking those necessary steps so as to ensure legal counsel whenever needed

  • Experience in a similar role will be considered an asset
  • BS degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Thorough knowledge of Maltese employment legislation
  • Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices
  • Demonstrable experience with HR metrics
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Analytical and goal oriented
  • Conversant with MS Office applications
  • Language proficiency in both Maltese and English 

  • Exhibit a positive attitude and initiative
  • Must have motivation and interpersonal skills
  • Have a respectable work history with minimal attendance and lateness issues
  • Understand the principles and comply with practice of Lean Manufacturing, 5S Methodology and Continuous Improvement
  • To always act and behave in a way compliant with all Company guidelines and policies, especially those relating to Environment Health and Safety, ethics and codes of conduct
